Photo Release: U.S. Coast Guard District Commander awards Purple Heart

SALEM, Mass. -- Rear Adm. Daniel Neptun, the 1st Coast Guard district commander, presents the Purple Heart Medal to siblings Robert Nersasian and Anne Savoie on Winter Island May 21, 2011. Nersasian and Savoie accepted the medal in place of their late brother, Nelson Nersasian. Nelson Nersasian was a surviving crewmember of the U.S.S.
