City of Portsmouth, N.H. welcome Coast Guard Cutter Eagle

BOSTON — Media are invited to attend a public ceremony hosted by the U.S. Coast Guard, the City of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and the Piscataqua Maritime Commission Friday, August 7, 2009, 11 a.m., at the main Ship Pier to welcome Coast Guard Barque Eagle to Portsmouth.

         Coast Guard Capt. James B. McPherson, commander, Sector Northern New England
         Coast Guard Capt. Eric C. Jones, commanding officer, Coast Guard Barque
Eagle
         Mr. Donald Coker, chairman, Piscataqua Maritime Commission            

WHAT:  Governor Lynch, Mayor Ferrini, and the Piscataqua Maritime Commission, on behalf of the state of New Hampshire and the City of Portsmouth, will publicly welcome Capt. Jones and Eagle to Portsmouth.
