Coast Guard searching for Gloucester fisherman

BOSTON — The Coast Guard is searching for a man who fell overboard from a fishing boat about three miles south of Eastern Point in Gloucester, Mass., Tuesday.

The crewman was on the stern of the 39-foot vessel Dominatrix when he fell overboard at about 2 p.m.

He is not wearing a life jacket or survival suit.

A 25-foot boat crew and a 47-foot boat crew from Station Gloucester are searching, as well as a jet and a helicopter from Air Station Cape Cod, Mass.

The man’s identity is not being released at this time. He is estimated to be about 40 years old.
