Coast Guard Cutter Escanaba transits through Cape Cod Bay during snowstorm

The Boston-based Coast Guard Cutter Escanaba transits through 12-foot seas and 44-mph winds in Cape Cod Bay Dec. 20, 2009, during the coastal winter snowstorm. The 270-foot cutter stayed in the Cape Cod Bay area for the duration of the storm, standing by to assist boaters. (U.S. Coast Guard video by Coast Guard Cutter Escanaba)
