Coast Guard ends search after boy is found

MARBLEHEAD, Mass. - The Coast Guard ended their search for a 12-year old boy last night Feb. 24, 2010, after he was found around midnight in Marblehead, Mass.

The Coast Guard was notified last night at 9 p.m. by the Marblehead Fire Department that the boy had gone missing after school.

The Coast Guard searched the shoreline of Brown’s Island while the fire department searched on land. The boy was found safely on land by local responders and was returned to his family.
